My Alibi

another day, here...

lately, i have been thinking a lot about technology, equipment, software associated with photography. i think they are overused. even sometimes by me. im a huge fan of film and digital, either/or. by me and others, i can admit when someone else takes great photos. but we all cannot be Stanley Kubrick and be able to point out shutter speeds and aperture of a photo just based off looking at it. i admire others ambition, but sometimes pointing out the lens you are using or the type of camera, strips all the fun out of what it was about in the first place. maybe it was taking a picture of your husband, pet, child, garden or whatever, but regardless, it was a moment that meant enough, even if just for the time it took to get your camera out and snap the photo. i hope i never forget that.
