My Alibi

you were there...

there are all these things
that make up people and make up me
and inbetween everything
we are somewhere, i am there too.
but there are all these distractions,
so much going on.
walls, doors, blank faces, empty places,
but mostly in myself.
it feels so easy to get lost
and so hard to find my way back.
