i have a paper-cut on my finger...
yeah, no more work for the rest of week. am i wasting my time? i dont know. probably. 40k is still sounding so good right now compared to where i am at. im a loser.
so i came across some blogs of people i went to high school with, and really most of them didnt change the way i felt about those people when i knew them. i still think they are stupid. my grandma was right, im mean, but she also said i learned it from her. hahahahaha.
i have so much to do today, starting now, including bringing my little painting project inside off the porch, and going to sleep. darn, shoot, crap, i sure could use an extra 3 hours to this day. baaaaahhhh.

10 more seconds is all i ask...
i ran out of soda earlier. yeah, i know. so, i walked down to the convienence store near my house to get some. its a 24 hour place, so theres always wackos hanging out there late at night (and yeah i know, what am i going there so late, maybe im a wacko too). but, they were fucking closed. wtf? theres a few of them in town (that are the some company) and one got robbed last week, and i think the workers are afraid that when one gets robbed another will get robbed. whatever. i was bummed, regardless.
so, its almost my birthday. and i got my first birthday present today. my mom got me a mp3 player. woohoo!!! i've kinda wanted one for a long time. its pretty sweet, its not super duper ipod fancy, but it does voice recording, gets FM stations, and of course plays mp3s. so, i was like i might check that itunes shit i see all over tv. yeah, its a little too much for this late, so i didnt buy any songs. but i did put 13 or so songs off my computer on it. hey, its a start. im always a little slow at catching up with the technology. but just by a half-step, maybe.
and i still have so much shit to do. i really need to recollect today, im going to take my computer to work, haha, im a slacker, and i can get away with it. i work at a skate shop. anyways, obviously download some songs onto my new gadget, and i need to photoshop some pictures to print out later. that will probably take me forever though, because i suck at photoshop, mainly because im just figuring it out by myself. its all good though.

i cant stop you fighting to sleep...
woah, so i successfully, re-strung my shitty acoustic guitar, all by myself. and after three seperate trys, i finally got that bitch in tune. but im sure im going to have to do it all over again, the tuning part, tomorrow, considering that playing for five or ten minutes is really going to do much as far as break them in. haha. believe it or not, im so proud of myself. yawn. oh yeah, the breaks worked great today, except i did not ride home, it was pouring down rain and freezing (you could see your breath).
i was just looking around the internet tonight and i dont really remember how i stumbled upon it, but i found this guys site. i dont know if its because he looks so familiar or what. but i just thought it/he was interesting.

love for fire...
man, oh man. i did so much skate shop stuff today. it took away all my daylight hours.
im pretty sure that the back tire of my bike is losing air. considering it was almost flat on the way home from the shop sunday night. the whole time riding home, i felt like all the people in cars driving past were looking at me and thinking, "why the fuck is that girl riding on a flat tire?" and really, i have a nice bike. but im not super duper bike savy, the only thing i can guarantee is that i will be able to ride it and probably tear it up. so, when i got back from the bank i fixed dinner. didnt turn out great, didnt turn out bad. but then again, i hate, HATE, making and eating food alone. by then, its dark. so i turn all the lights on outside that i can and have, and i loosen the axel from the frame but couldnt get all this shit around the chain stay (?). so, i just end up tightening the wheel back onto the frame. but figured since i had all my tools out, i might as well try to fix the front brake again. and guess what? the front break is now functioning at 100%. hell yeah! at least i got one thing fixed.

heavier, bendable, more priceless than a bar of gold...
well, i meant to go to bed a lot earlier tonight, but im not really sure why that didnt work out. i did watch a movie tonight. Supersize Me, to be exact. the lady at the video store said she heard that if you like mcdonalds, you might not want to watch the movie. i told her i didnt have much to worry about considering i've been a vegetarian for almost 3 years. it was kinda funny seeing the expression on her face, she almost seemed disappointed. oh well. i have so much to do this week. half of which i should have done last week. but i went to st louis last night, to go see miles' band play with the starting line at mississippi night, on the landing. it was alright, the sound guys at the venue really have no clue what they are doing. after they got done playing i guess miles continued to tell off the sound guy for fucking up. and it was so foggy coming home, it sucked.
so, i need to paint some picture frames, print out some pictures, buy miles birthday present, go to the bank (for me and the shop), re-string my guitar, change the kitty-litter (yuck), figure out what i am going to eat, take back some sony cd-rs back to walgreens (because they didnt work)....thats just the start. ugh.

ah ha...
so, i was thinking tonight. i know springfield, illinois will never get metroblogging because really we are just a rather small town, but i got an idea that maybe he could just combine a bunch of springfields from all over the country. kind of like the simpsons (i dont really know that much about the simpsons, i have never watched it in my life, sorry). i might post more but i just had to share that idea.

"miraculous"
so a few nights ago, or last night maybe, i mentioned a quote i heard on tv, about the when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. well i "surfing" the web tonight, and i was checking up on a site i only look at once in a blue moon, and there was an advertisement with that quote written on it. it probably doesnt really mean anything, but things like that rarely ever happen to me. maybe i should be on the look out for something miraculous.

i would have to say there isnt a very strong blogging community here in springfield. but i love metroblogging, and i know it will never come here, but if it did, i'd be the first to sign up.

tomorrow, or later today rather, if the weather isnt too bad (theyre saying rain) i might try to get out and take some pictures. but i kinda have a full plate already. miles is coming back a little early from tour and i need to give johnny a call at the shop and remind him to a few extra things. after i spent about 3 hours vacuming the floor today. long story, another day. night
