i would really like a header on my site. other than just the title of the site. you know, with a picture or something. but i dont know how to do it and my mom doesnt know how to do it either. i guess im SOL.
Posted by Allie at July 4, 2004 1:26 AMTo place a picture one would decide what picture then'd create/edit(in soft from MS Paint up to the Photoshop) the picture to her liking then'd try to insert it by referencing in the "body" part of HTML source with "img" tag then'd have a vacation at Hawai.
To make icon appear in the address bar and also in favorites/bookmarks list.
* Create a 16x16 pixel image representing your icon.
* Convert the image to .ico format.
* Rename the image to favicon.ico
* Upload the file to the root of your web site directory.
